This year, I wanted to try even more new and different methods in creating engaging, shape and line-based artworks. This involved utilising blend modes for lines that I drew in Adobe Illustrator to create warped, striking images inspired by real flower photography.

Petals strongly convey natural themes of warmth and rejuvenation, which is why I experimented with mainly bright, neon colours for emphasis. Being able to draw freehand in this way and try different colour variations was a great experience and I plan to create more artworks using this method.
