Robin Osolinski's Design Portfolio
Kokeshi doll graphic designed for broader contexts.

This is my rendition of a Japanese Kokeshi doll. This was made with the use of Inkscape, a free graphic design software. Originally from northern Japan, Kokeshi dolls are made from wood and head bigger than the body. The Kokeshi's face is usually defined by a few lines of paint, while the body is usually decorated with ornate, floral patterns. My design is based on this concept, while also following a simpler line and colour-based style.
