Recently, I took on a huge graphic design project and opportunity that required me to create background designs among other graphics. More information about this project will follow soon. While working on that project, I was inspired to draw more landscape background designs.

While drawing this image, I wanted to convey a sense of calmness and tranquility. This is why I chose dark, soothing shades of orange and blue for this tropical sunset. I associate holidays in tropical places (such as the Caymen Islands) with happiness and beauty: elements that I can try capturing with backgrounds like this one.
